“How do you not gain weight!?”
Dear Friend,
“How do you not gain weight?” friends and followers message me.
One wrote, “You and your brother are always making magnificent meals and delicious cocktails (scroll reels), I’d gain 50lbs. How do you do it?”
Humbly, here’s my secret…
I bypass 80% of the food and drinks I encounter while out. In the reel below 👇 you see me walk by towers of tempting treats, settling on a black coffee, no sugar.
Why? 30 years ago I was 60lbs overweight, and miserable. Today, I knew I was heading to the beach, and I’d feel bloated and tired if I indulged. That would trigger more eating during the day and throughout the night, resulting in weight gain.
Instead, I felt great, enjoyed the weather while feeling fit, then indulged with some homemade pizzas my bro made that evening.

MORE TIPS
As a rule, during the week I forego alcohol and eat predominately protein and vegetables, no processed food or drinks. As I write this my bro and I are sipping seltzer & kombucha while watching a ball game, saving the calories for the weekend (see reels).
If you can, cook more. It’s one of the healthiest things we can do for ourselves and those we care about.
