“Healthy” Yogurt, Bread, & Breakfast Bar that’s Unhealthy?

“Why don’t I feel well?” a Life Coaching client asked.
“Describe how you feel",” I asked.
“Tired, weak, heavy.”
“What have you eaten today?”
That’s when we go to the bottom of why she wasn’t feeling well. Here’s what she ate. (No judgments. She’s doing her best to navigate confusing marketing messages, like so many of my other clients)
These 3 "health" foods contain over 85 ingredients!
No wonder she didn’t feel well.
I informed her, “Don’t let the healthy sounding ingredients fool you.” These are not health foods. They are lab experiments.
Try these instead
Bread- Sourdough (3 ingredients- water, wheat, salt)
Yogurt- Organic Plain Greek Yogurt (1 ingredient)
Fruit- Organic Berries. (1 ingredient)
I encouraged her, “You want healthy, go right to the source, whole foods.”
I hope this helps you navigate what can be a confusing, media misleading journey toward eating great to look & feel amazing.
