This Can Help Our Children Control Anxiety This Holiday

NOTE- The plan below has been proven to control anxiety. Too many of our children are paralyzed by anxiety, some traditional treatments apparently not getting to the root cause, ineffective in helping our children now, today. Why some “experts” aren’t looking at our children holistically, including powerful allies like nutrition and exercise is a head scratcher for me.

SAMPLE ACTION PLAN

1. Anxiety- Do the Vagus Nerve Anxiety exercise as often as needed. (Reel below) This controls anxiety in 60 seconds.

2. When triggered- Smile, Breath, Hydrate (Do the Vagus Nerve Exercise again) (Identify and keep track of triggers- share with Life Coach/therapist) (Smiling releases serotonin, endorphins, and other feel good neurotransmitters/hormones)

3. Nutrition- Eat Clean- Ask me for a food additives list and avoid additives like “natural flavors” “soy lecithin” “seed oils” etc. that can trigger anxiety.

4. Tap into Best Self- After doing the vagus nerve exercise, listen to music or do anything else that has helped in past- connect to family, me, friends, prayer, meditation, visualization, exercise, etc.

5. Find a therapist who will help you get to the root cause, not mask the symptoms.
